In this letter one hundred and eighteen MEPs call on Polish authorities to engage in a dialogue, to listen to the demands of the Polish protestors, and to prevent any further escalation. MEPs call on Poland to abstain from any new restrictions on fundamental human rights and ask to put a stop to the dismantling of the rule of law in Poland.

In this letter sixty-two MEPs call on the European Commission to recalibrate its financial assistance to Belarus in a way to cease all financial assistance to the Belarussian authorities and channel these financial resources to people, civil society organisations, NGOs and foundations of Belarus. Attached to the letter there is a document by the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum that provides recommendations on funding priorities and short-to medium-term measures to support the Belarusian people.
